For this client, we developed specialized software for managing calibration and periodic verification operations for non-automatic weighing instruments, which minimizes the time required to handle interventions and the legally mandated communications.
The cloud-based solution digitises the process of managing calibration and periodic verification operations. It is web-based software that can be used with just an internet connection and a browser, featuring an intuitive and functional interface designed to optimally manage this type of operation.
The software integrates a database optimized for managing clients’ weighing instrument inventories. Client management allows the registration of multiple locations (local units), including all the identifying information needed to generate certifications via the Telemaco portal.
The same applies to the weighing instruments: their data is easily accessible and can be filtered either by the client they belong to or through a general list of instruments, which can also be filtered based on the expiration dates of periodic verifications.
The software is based on a custom-designed relational database and a set of APIs for accessing and modifying the data.
We used Python and PostgreSQL to implement the database and the APIs exposed by the backend.
The application's user interface is based on a web application, which can therefore be accessed through a browser without any local installation.
We used JavaScript and React to implement the functions dedicated to lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.
We designed a custom UX tailored to the client’s needs, with an interface optimized for the web.
We used Figma for UX and UI design.
The final result is a web-based, multi-user software system that has reduced the time required to manage periodic verification and calibration operations by up to 90% compared to the previous process. The tool also manages a complete database of clients and weighing instruments.
The automatic generation and archiving of documents is an added value which, together with the XML export functionality for communications to the Chamber of Commerce, has made it possible to fully manage all intervention documentation within the platform.

All interventions carried out, both calibrations and periodic verifications, are always easily accessible on the platform, along with all related information.

The system allows for the management of periodic verification requests and the scheduling of interventions, providing an always up-to-date overview of deadlines and planned operations at client sites.

The software integrates a database optimized for managing clients’ weighing instrument inventories. Client management allows the registration of multiple locations (local units), including all the identifying information required to generate certifications via the Telemaco portal.

For periodic certification operations, an XML export feature is provided, compatible with the Telemaco platform, which effectively minimizes the time required for communications.
