RAWGraphs 2.0

RAWGraphs 2.0 is an open source data visualization framework built with the aim of making the visual representation of complex datasets easy for everyone. Initially conceived as a tool for designers and industry enthusiasts, RAWGraphs wants to provide the missing link between spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel, OpenRefine) and vector graphics processing software (Illustrator, Sketch).

INMAGIK is part of the development team of the project together with DensityDesign and Studio Calibro, with which was finalized a crowdfunding campaign which then led to the release of version 2.0 at the beginning of 2021. Within this team, INMAGIK is mainly involved in the implementation of the web application and other software components of the project.

Specifically, the software allows you to upload your dataset (which is guaranteed total confidentiality) and, as soon as the size of the dataset is mapped, you will see the corresponding view appear. You can manipulate it, map its size with the visual variables of the layout or insert another dataset for a new view. Finally, RAWGraphs allows you to export visualizations as vector (SVG) or raster (PNG) images and embed them on your web page. To edit them, just open the files in a vector graphics editor.
